Wertz & Co. was founded in 1988 by Barry and Becky Wertz, with the idea of providing superior personalized service to individuals and businesses that want close working contact with experienced accountants, at an affordable price. Being a smaller firm, we do not periodically reassign your personal contact within our firm to another accountant. And we answer our own phones.

BARRY WERTZ, CPA

Experience: Entered the accounting profession with McGladrey & Pullen, Elkhart, Indiana, in 1976. Also spent four years as controller and chief financial officer with Continental Industries in Elkhart, Indiana. Formed Wertz & Co. in 1988.
Community Involvement: Board member, School City of Mishawaka Education Foundation; past board member, Potawatomi Zoological Society; member, Mishawaka Breakfast Optimist Club; member and former board member, Willow Creek United Methodist Church; Mishawaka Business Association; St. Joseph County Chamber of Commerce; BNI International (South Bend).

BECKY WERTZ

Donna has been with Wertz & CO. for over ten years, and has handled many areas of client service, including bookkeeping, payroll tax compliance, payroll processing, and individual income tax preparation. Donna also has extensive experience in Quickbooks and Peachtree software.
